- Only holders (‘the Cardholders’) of Club Charterhouse (‘the Card’) issued by The Charterhouse (‘the Hotel’) in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are eligible to participate in the Rewards Programme (‘the Programme’) and enjoy the offers provided.
- Membership number will be assigned once an application is accepted. It is mandatory that members quote their membership number and name when a hotel reservation made. For members patronizing our restaurant outlets, please present the card to our waiting staff before order.
- Cardholders earn one Reward point for every HK$1 spent in the restaurant outlets and/or hotel room rental in The Charterhouse. Reward points will not be offered for any unposted or cancelled transaction or any transaction posted but subsequent reversed or refunded in whole or in part thereof. The Hotel reserves the right to change the Reward points earning rate and its awards.
- Reward points earned will be valid till 30 April 2010. Cardholders enjoy a two months grace period to use the reward points to redeem awards. The accrued reward points will be forfeited upon the expiry of the grace period without prior notice.
- Redemption points accumulated under corporate account must be redeemed with company letter, with company chop and approval.
- Reward points are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- All redemptions are subjected to the accumulation of sufficient Reward points and the Hotel’s final acceptance. Orders will be cancelled automatically in the event of insufficient Reward points.
- Vouchers redeemed from the Programme are not redeemable for cash and the use of vouchers will be bound by the terms and conditions of the respective restaurants and the Hotel partners.
- Discounts and offers from the Hotel’s partners will be bound by the terms and conditions of its respective partners. The Hotel is not responsible for any dispute or liability raised during the consumption of those services or products.
- The Hotel is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen vouchers or goods redeemed through the Programme.
- Once a redemption order (including redemption of gifts and vouchers) has been accepted by the Hotel, it cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded regardless of the redemption channel.
- Fraud and abuse relating to the earning and pooling of Reward points or redemption orders may results in the forfeiture of the accrued Reward points as well as cancellation of the membership. The Hotel reserves its right to take legal action in such cases and to recover (among others) the cost of the vouchers, products and services redeemed by the Cardholder.
- The Hotel reserves the right to change the terms and conditions herein and the Reward points required for redemption from time to time without prior notice.
- In case of any dispute arising from the Programme, the decision of the Hotel shall be final.
- Members should inform the Hotel of any changes in their email, correspondence and contact details.
- If this English version of the terms and conditions does not conform to the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
